ECA coordinates income eligible Delaware resident applications to the federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) to mitigate energy burden. Please follow the steps below:<\/p>\r\n

  1. If you haven’t applied, start an application with ASSIST<\/a>.\u00a0If you already applied, start Step 2!<\/li>\r\n
  2. After submitting with ASSIST, submit the necessary documents to ECA using the form.<\/li>\r\n
  3. If we’re missing anything, or if one of your documents was invalid, we’ll reach out to you.<\/li>\r\n
  4. Please allow approximately 6 – 8 weeks for your application to be processed.<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n
